Warts are hard, dry growth on the skin which are capable of spreading but are usually harmless. Common home remedies for warts are:
- Castor Oil: Castor oil should be generously applied over the affected parts in the night. The treatment should be continued for months.
- Milky Juice of Figs: Milky juice should be extracted from fresh, barely ripe fruits and applied on warts several times a day. This treatment should be continued for 2 weeks.
- Potato: A potato should be cut and rubbed on the affected areas several times daily.
- Onion: Onion are irritating to the skin and it stimulates circulation of blood. Warts often disappear completely when rubbed with cut onion.
- Herb Dandelion: The milk from the cut end of dandelion should be applied over the affected areas 2-3 times daily.
- Cashew nut: Oil extracted from the shell of cashew nut should be applied externally over the affected area in treating warts.
- Herb Marigold: Juice of leaves of the plant marigold can be applied beneficially over warts. The sap from the stem is also found to be beneficial in removal of warts.
- Papaya Milk: Papaya fruit milk is also effective in breaking warts. Its application should be continued for longer periods to get desired results.

Also Clorox daily applied with a q-tip will also kill warts. A lot cheaper than going to the doctor and painless. I had one frozen off that never went away, but applying Clorox daily for a week of two made it finally disappear.
