Heart palpitations refer to the beatings of the heart. They may be too slow or too fast. There could be stopped or skipped heartbeats. These can be felt in the neck, chest or throat. One can feel the beatings pounding or racing. People become aware of the heart. It can cause distress but is not serious.

- Eat a guava on an empty stomach.

- Honey is very good.
- Deep breathing exercises are also beneficial.
- Yoga and Meditation – This relaxes a person and reduces the palpitations.
- Avoid tea, coffee, chocolates and sugary beverages.
- One must take adequate amounts of calcium, minerals, potassium and magnesium.
- Grape fruit juice is good.
- Snake guard leaves are good.
- Take a glass of water, 1 teaspoonful of honey and juice of half lemon. Drink the mix before sleep time at night.
