Early detection of Diabetes is advisable. Fatigue, excessive urination and blurred vision often indicate the prevalence of Diabetes. Early intervention helps in controlling the disease better.
Diabetes is a disease whereby the pancreas does not produce insulin to convert sugar into energy. This results in high blood sugar levels.
How can one tell one has Diabetes?
- Sudden weight loss – One tends to lose weight even if one eats normally. This is symptomatic of a health problem. If one eats less and loses weight it is alright. But eating properly or more than required and still losing weight is bad for health.
- Unusual changes in one’s eating habits and drinking habits – One feels thirsty and drinks more water. One experiences increased hunger as a well. Any sudden change in one’s eating and drinking habits indicates a health problem.
- Excessive urination – One tends to urinate very often, in fact every hour. They urinate twice the amount that they usually do. They also tend to drink more on account of this. Consumption of too much liquid is also not good.
- Fatigue – One feels tired and is unable to do daily chores. This requires medical attention. One is irritable and has mood swings. The patient is less alert and also gets mentally and physically drained out. One feels less energetic and dizzy.
- Eye problems – One suffers from blurred vision and also develops eye problems as the Diabetes progresses. Early detection helps in preventing such conditions.

I like that you provide so much information about diabetes, but I was hoping to get some information about herbal treatments for this issue. Do you know of any herbs that can help with diabetes? I would think fatigue would have some potential herbal remedies and maybe even the eye problems. I hope you have some additional information that you can provide. Thank you. Carla
