Many people die due to fire injuries. Sheer negligence often causes serious mishaps, in which either people die or get seriously injured. Even children fall a prey to these mishaps. Not only in offices, but fire occurs at home also. The persons residing in the house are often careless about cigarette butts, gas stoves and sometimes short circuits occur which cause fire.
Deaths occurring due to fire are much too common all over the world. In the US, it is the fifth most common cause of unintentional injuries. The mortality rate of death due to fire in the US is at the sixth position among the 25 developed countries (International Association for the Study Of Insurance Economics 2003).
The number of death occurring due to residential fires has declined considerably, yet many such deaths are unable to be prevented and happen to be a public health problem that citizens have to cope up with.
One has to take certain precautions to prevent such deaths. How?

Fire mishaps are definitely public health hazards which need to be prevented. Even children are at a risk. In fact, at home fire risks need to be minimized and efforts need to be made that children do not have access to fire causing objects.
