- St.John Wort’s is a natural remedy for depression. Of course not much is known about this drug. More research has to be carried out.
- Passion flower – It can calm the nerves and reduce the worry.
- Valerian extract relieves anxiety. It works much quicker as compared to anti-anxiety drugs. It can make one feel more relaxed and not so worried. It is not addictive.
- L-theanine happens to be an amino acid which is extracted from Green Tea. It is good to reduce anxiety levels.
- Licorice tea is good for treating depression.
- One can eat an apple with some milk and honey in order to uplift one’s mood.
- The asparagus root is good for depression One can have about 1 or 2 grams of the powder of the dry root of an asparagus.
- Prepare some tea by adding about 1/4th teaspoonful of tulsi and about ½ teaspoonful of sage for one cup of water. Have this tea twice in a day. It is very useful for depression.
- About 2 seeds of green cardamom must be powdered. Add about 1 cup of boiling water, add some sugar and drink this tea about twice in day. It happens to be a natural remedy for treating depression.
- Prepare some tea with putting some rose petals in boiling water and add a little bit of sugar. Drink it when you feel a bit depressed.
Anxiety and depression can be treated with natural remedies. One can reduce one’s anxiety level by using these remedies.

To be honest am encourage by all your remedies, will start practising from this moments because I do get depress in time. Is just that most of the mention remedies are not easy to get here in nigeria.
