  • Cold items should be avoided in asthma like ice cream, butter milk, cold drinks, curd, yogurt etc.
  • If patients gets allergy after consuming some foods, these should be completely avoided.
  • Eggs, cucumber, and guava should also be avoided.
  • Other then the above avoid sleeping during daytime.
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Always take warm water bath

  • Make a mixture of garlic clove with honey. Take twice daily. Do not use garlic if you have ulcer or bleeding disorder.
  • Make a solution out of 50 ml asafetida, sesame oil, and a pinch of camphor. Rub it on the chest of affected patients. It will help in dilating contracted bronchial tubes.
  • Make a mixture of 1tsp of ginger juice, betel leaves juice, garlic juice (1 clove) and take 1tsp 3 times a day.
  • Mix camphor and asafetida and make small pills out of it. Take a pill with hot water 3 times a day.
  • Gur mixed with mustard oil if taken for 21 days give relief.
  • Increase your fluid intake as it helps in making bronchial mucus thin.
