Combination hairs

This is a type where the hairs have a combination of both greasy and dry hair. This type of hairs looks good after shampooing but with not so good looking ends. Split ends are the major problem in this type of hairs. The ends of the hairs look lighter then root hairs.

Causes of combination hairs

Active sebaceous glands produce sebum, which is being absorbed at the base of the scalp and prevents it from traveling along the hair shaft. Due to this, the roots of the hairs are oily whereas the ends of the hairs are dry, frizzy and are very much prone to breakage and splitting.

Treatment for combination hairs

Give separate attention to scalp and ends of the hairs. Give your scalp an astringent treatment before shampooing and finally wash your hairs with mild home made shampoos. Don't use higher settings in blog dryers. Dry ends should be trimmed regularly. Wash your hairs whenever you feel itchy.
