What is eczema?
The term Eczema is derived from Greek word, which means, "to boil". Eczema refers to the inflammation of the skin, which results in the formation of vesicles or pustules. It is one of the most common of all skin diseases. Eczema is primary caused due to toxic condition of the system. It is characterized by spontaneous eruptions which gives rise to mild to severe itching, redness, flaking to tiny blisters. In chronic cases skin becomes thickened and looks like bark of the tree.
Cause of eczema:
Allergies play a important role in causing Eczema. Some women get Eczema in hands due to an allergy to soap or detergents used to wash clothes and dishes. Some people get this in their fingers when they wear rings due to allergy with certain metals. Other then above the real cause of Eczema is the failure of body to excrete poisons from various orifices of the body. Sometimes the pores of the skin are overworked and waste matter is not properly eliminated from the orifices. The other causes of eczema include faulty metabolism, constipation, nutritional deficiency, stress, and emotional imbalance.

Symptoms of Eczema:
Eczema is indicated by redness and swelling of skin, formation of minute vesicles and heat. Once the vesicles rupture, a raw & moist surface is formed. A colorless discharge oozes out. This condition is worse at nights when the heat of the body is retained by bedclothes. The skin itches and in the wet stage, bacteria might infect it. If scratched due to irritation of skin, healing gets delayed.
Types of Eczema:
Infant Eczema: A rash appears on the face of the child which may spread to the rest of the body. Child might show signs of Eczema at a very tender age.
Contact Eczema: This type of Eczema could be caused due to contact with the jewelry, plants or cosmetic for which the person is allergic. The skin becomes itchy and tiny blisters might appear within 48 hours of contact.
Home remedies for Eczema, Eczema natural remedy
- The affected part should be washed daily with warm water mixed with the bark of Margosa Tree. This prevents itching.
- The paste of Margosa Tree bark could be applied on the infected part. Allow it to dry and wash it off.
- Two to Four drops of Margosa tree oil mixed with warm milk and sugar could be taken daily of 30-40 days.
- Raw vegetable juices, especially carrot juice with combination of Spinach is beneficial.
- Patient should be kept in fresh air and should take 2-3 baths daily.
- Drink lot of water and avoid tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, sugar, tinned or bottled foods.
- Coconut oil could be applied on the infected part and it will keep it soft.
- Early morning sunbath kills harmful bacteria.
- Eat only pure and wholesome foods
