Well, I can't blame you as in today's world the real enemy for your health is your commitment at one place and lack of it at the other. With increasing busy lifestyle, cut throat competition and tight working hours the traditional options of morning walks and gymmming are becoming fast obsolete.

Well everyone wants to be healthy and fit but how to get it with little effort. Diet control is one of the important parts in weight reduction program and above all to be fit. By diet control we mean a balanced diet with all the required nutrients in sufficient amount. The main emphasis of diet control should be to reduce the intake of high calorie foods. 1 tsp (7 gms) of sugar contains 20 Kcal and a spoonful of oil contains 45 Kcal. If you consume around 8 –10 spoons of sugar and oil, it adds to 550 Kcal/day.

If you can cut 500Kcal out of this, you could reduce your weight a pound per week. In this way you could reduce 4 – 5 pounds per month. So, just by reducing your sugar and oil intake you could comfortable shed some pounds of weight. If you can combine it with daily exercise, it will certainly quicken the shed rate.

Take 5-10 glasses of water every day and add fibrous food items in your daily meals. These foods give feeling of fullness to the body without adding calories. There is a severe danger to dieting if done wrongly or with improper diets. It could result in weakness and lethargy. If you are planning to go for dieting then remember that dieting and starving are not synonymous. Eating moderate portion of a wide range of healthy food is the key to dieting.
