Obesity tests, Am I Obese

Am I obese? Do you need to see a doctor to find if you are obese? Well, here is some simple obesity tests which will give you preliminary signals that their is something wrong with your body shape.

Eye Ball test: Stand erect or stand with your back towards wall in erect posture. Sink your chin towards your chest. Now look down. You must be able to see your toes clearly without a turtle like extension of the head.

Pinch Test: Pinch a little flesh over the lower 2 or 3 ribs under your arm pit with thumb and fore-finger. If there is a pinch of more then one inch, it got to be a layer or extra fat.

Flat board test: Stand erect facing your back towards wall. Take a hard flat board with a size not more then the size between your chin and waist. If the board is parallel to your body or the top of the board is facing away from your body, you are not obese. If top of board is facing towards your chin then it is a warning signal.

Note: A general rule says that obesity is measured by tape and overweight by weighing scale. Fat bulges while muscles are compact. A sensible look at your body could tell, if you are fat or obese.
